Great Day Cut Short

Well we headed out to Centennial Park this weekend... I was ready for a good day and sure enough it was... Armed with my Crawbugs and my new jigs, I started with a black blue crawbug and got a bass on my second cast and another on my fourth. Moved on a little later and I got a nice one about 15 16 inches on the same lure. Dad still nothin. Kept goin on to the next spot and when dad said he keeps gettin snagged I wanted to show him that you can still throw it into the lily pads and not get snagged and I ended up gettin a nice bass Then we decide to move to the other side of the lake and I get 2 bass while dad finally gets a bite but no fish (it got caught in the pads) I got a huuuuuuuge bite but I got a lil too excited and forgot to let it get out of the pads and it ended up breaking my line. WEnt to the best spot on the lake and dad finally got a bass but it got tangled in the pads again!!!! when we ran out of the good hooks we had to compensate and switch to texas rigged craw papis and I got one bass of of them..... we were about to move on to the stretch with many many many good spots when the t-storm and we had to pack it up and end the day there. But 7 bass is good enough for me. just wish dad was ableto get at least one fish in.
