Mexican Restaurants
Ever wonder if Mexican restaurants re-use the chips?
Well we stopped at the hometown Mexican joint today. While pleasantly munching chips my wife noticed a greasy torn sweet and low (tm) wrapper in the chips. Obviously discarded by a previous patron when the chips were "finished." The waiter shrugged and took them away...I had some guacamole, as I am want to do, but he never brought chips back. The food came as he was taking them away (thank god). I was worried about saliva retribution. I had to say, "Dude I need chips to finish my guac"...So guess what brand spanking new, not chipped, scratched or even cracked new chips...WOW!! Anyway the bill was 11.00 and I say Adiós' 3 Amigos
