Where would you live?

It looks like we may be moving south. My wife recently got another degree but this one she is going to use.

She's applying for academic librarian positions and has had or has scheduled interviews in:
McAllen/Edinburg, TX
Auburn, AL
Terre Haute, IN
Louisville, KY
York, PA
and maybe a couple of others soon.
She just got back from Texas on Thursday and really liked it.
Assuming she gets offers from some of these places, she asked me where I would like to live. With my current job I can live anywhere in the Eastern or Central timezones. Plus it is going so bad I don't know how much longer I will have it and may need to go back to school or find another job in the spring.

If you had your choice, where would it be and why?
