gummy worms?

My brother in law told me he had a secret weapon to winning out little tourney last year. Said he had a bait that you could eat and the bass loved it. Wouldn't tell what it was until the day before the tourney. It was gummy worms!

Also said the sour ones worked best.

Ok why, said when in the water they get slimey and the fish hold on and longer and like the diff. taste, or smell.

Well dont know if they work because no one had a keeper that day.

Anyone try or here of this?

My buddie tried it but the thing kept falling off when casting. ( then again he doesn't cast soft ever!)
