Made it out to a local pond yesterday for a couple of hours. Wanted to throw the pointers I had picked up this week. Managed to get a couple of dinks on the pointers. All of them were in about 5 foot of water.
Out of no where, the water began to explode with boils around 30 foot from shore. I tied on my white dual blade buzz bait and had an incredible 20 minutes. In that span I never had to cast more than 3 times to get a hook up. Most of them were not too impressive, but this 2 lbs left the water with the bait on the inital strike. Most were in the 1 lbs mark, but did get into this one that came close to the 4lbs mark. As quickly as the bite heated up it flat out died. I ended up with a couple of more spinner bait fish through out the day and finished with 15 fish in 4 hours. 10 of those comming in the 20 minute span. Sorry about the bad photos. Still learning how to do it with the camera phone.
