I'm am now a firm believer of stop and go!! ***New pics added***
Day One of Spinnerbait Fishing: spinner baits Stop and go works!
I'm am now a firm believer of stop and go with spinner baits!! When I went to the pond (one I have not gone to in a while it was lower than I've ever seen it! Lower than the other one you saw in my other thread, at least 8 foot down) and the spinner bait bite was nice! I caught 4 bass in about 2 hours btw. All on the spinner bait! I was not getting hit on any thing for the first hour though, I was kinda getting frustrated! I tried a spro frog, spinnerbait, buzzbait, spook, Everything! So I try the spinnerbait again. Nothing, I take on more cast before I pack up. I cast as far as I can, take two steps back for some reason? So I'm reeling a steady restive as I most the time do. And I feel a sting on my foot, I look down and I had stepped into some ants. I reach down a with the hand I was reeling with and get them off my foot so odviously my spinnerbait will stop. Than WAM-O!!! I get the biggest hit with spinner bait I've ever had! I set the hook! I bring in a nice solid 2-3lber (I was kinda disappointed when I got her in, I was think it would have been a lot bigger the way she hit)! Anyways, I have one hour before I have to hop on my bike and head home. I do the same thing the rest of the time, and bring in 3 nice large mouth, and my spotted bass (which btw fought harder than the large mouth)! All-in-all a very successful day........ I learned something! Just thought I pass on what I learned! ~SJ
