Default Is it worth buying a new triton after the 15th

I have been getting ready to pull the trigger on a new 17explorer with a 90 optimax, but wont be able to purchace untill the end of april. The problem is that the warranty on the new 90 optimax goes from the 5 year to the standard 3 year after the 15th of this month. SOOOO since I cant buy till the end of the month, this takes all of the wind from my sails! I feel like if I buy the same setup and pay the same, but get 2 years less warranty, Im stupid. Is anyone else getting ready to pull the trigger on a new boat, and does this warranty thing bother you??
