Lost what would have been a PB!!!!

I lost a fish today that was at least 5+ lbs. I made an errant cast along the bank of my boss' private pond and the lizard went over a thick branch. The fish nailed the lure and I couldn't get him over the branch and it wouldn't break. I saw half the fish out of the water but just couldn't get around to him. I tried to slacken the line but the fish wouldn't run to another spot. She just stayed there. Finally she dug down into the weeds and I pulled hard and the hook popped out. Next time I need to hit that spot from a different angle.
