Happened 3 times this morning
I cast a t-riged worm out, let it sit for a minuet, don't see the line move, so I say to myself, I'll twitch it a few times. Feels like it's hung up in weeds, so I pull to free it from the weeds. I feel a fish, set the hook, to late, no fish.
I know, setting the hook doesn't cost anything, so always set the hook if you think a fish may be there. But my old brain just won't tell me do it. It must be because of the light rain today? The fish are picky, and not hitting, and running. Had fun anyway, and landed a few small ones. |
