Default OMC Engines V4 Crossflow 1989 90hp, 110hp, 115hp performance difference

I am hoping someone familiar with this style of engine can come in and share their opinion. I was told the 110 johnson/evinrude of this year ran alot better in higher rpm band versus the 90 and 115, but the 90 and 115 had better low end torque than the 110. Has anyone heard or experienced this with this particular engine model/yr?

Im curious since i have the 110, and i do notice that in the higher rpms, this engine does seem to run excellent, but im no engine expert and i dont know squat about OMCs. This is my first boat.
