Crankbaits have been a hot topic on here lately. I ran across this and wanted to see what everybody's thoughts were on it.
They are called Backstabbers. They feature a "unique design with a hook extending from the back of the bait as opposed to the belly, the Backstabber Square-Bill Crankbait repels snags better than conventional lures. Specially tuned and weighted to accommodate the top hook and swim true, this hook configuration also hooks fish in the top lip - greatly increasing your odds of landing those larger fish......." I think I like them because if you aren't bumping cover you aren't fishing crankbaits right. Every cast I cringe at the thought of losing a $15 LC RC, but I think this has some merit. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Backs...ge-BSSBCB.html Last edited by CiK; 05-26-10 at 02:01 PM. |
