Default The Elusive Southern Indiana Musky!

I went night fishing with my buddy tonight, and I'm about 95% positive he hooked a Musky from our local pit. The DNR says they are in there, but I have never seen or heard of anyone catching one.

This thing was humongous (in comparison to our bass only hehe). It was dark, so I shall never be completely sure, but it just about wrecked his Lucky 13. Deep gouges on it from the teeth, and slime on his line. It jumped, and I saw a very thick fish in the darkness. It was no bass, and I've never had a catfish gouge a lure up like that. This thing was 36" easy. I know that's no lunker compared to Muskies elsewhere, but just to think in a few years, I might have the possibilty of catching a trophy Musky 5 minutes from my house is tantalizing!

It's funny because he really had no interest when I would talk about Musky, but now he does.
