My 9 most carried setups are 5600WS Abus, five with 5.3 gears, rest with the stock 6,3. A lot of 5600 c3 an c4 are on standby as loaners an spares. Also use some Records with added bearings. The blue C4s look great on St Croix Legend Tournament rods. Fit my hands an never have any trouble with them. Replace pawls once or twice a year, stock bearings last forever. Level winds get lubed several times a day. Dual bearing level wind and bearing cog wheel helps slightly. Ardent lube to speed up an Garcia oils to make more controlable.
Just did a count.
11. 5600WS
7. 5600 c3 (hope I get the 2 back that are loaned out)
2. 4600 c3 with 3 added bearings
4. 4600 c4
2. 4600 mag 5 (do not like)
3. 4600 UC
5. Records, almost to nice to use!
2. 6500 c3 from cat days
several boxes of parts that I had to have an never needed!
All LP reels are being phased out (see for sale forum) including some new in box Shimanos. Toooooo many taking up space!
