Tail up, vs tail down.

When you guys are jigging grubs, do you prefer to rig them tail down like shown in picture 1, or shown in picture 2. I've never really tossed grubs for bass down in Florida, but I did and salt water rigged them down down like in the first pic. Also, what kinda jig head do you to use, I can't seem to find a jig head that's go the right weight and the hook size.
