A failure to communicate
At 10:30 on Saturday I got a text from my oldest son. "Hey, can I get $20 to go to the movies"
I took a look outside before responding "Sure, after the grass is cut" At 1:00 pm I get the following text "Are you done with the grass yet so I can come get the money" So in my son's mind, I told him that I would give him $20 after "I" cut the grass. I wanted to be mad, but it was rather funny. I have learned that my son may not be the brightest, but he is far braver than I ever was at his age.
