Default What kind of fish is this?

Got a question for you guys. Went out on the boat today and storms put an end to that. So we headed down past the spillway a bit and I caught this. Just throwin a crt/wht spinner, slipped it over a tree branch in the middle and WHAM!!! It smashed the 1/2 oz. spinner and completely straightened the wire. Put up a good fight as it took out drag.
Of course, the scale batteries are out so I have no idea what it weighed, any ideas out there? Keep in mind the person holding the fish is 6' tall.
Oh yeah, and it had this weird like extendo lip thing going on. Thanks for any input guys. I do appreciate it.
