The best thing I've found to straighten my line, especially on a spinning reel, is to take the lure off, let all the line out behind the boat, drag the line slowly behind the boat, reel it all in, repeat and then fish. Repeat as needed.

Two different issues, one is caused by line twist, the other is caused by line memory. I can see how you would think that KVD L&L is a bust if you are trying to use it to correct line twist.
