Very bad winter storm!

I just got off the phone from talking with a friend of mine who lives in North Dakota very near the Canadian boarder. He said that the snow has been falling since early this morning. So far it is about waist high and still falling. The air temperature has dropped below zero and the winds are picking up to near gail force. His wife has done nothing but stand at the kitchen window and stare. He also told me that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in.
