I've been hearing this from people a lot lately and it really scares me. I believe this is part of what got us in the mess we are in, and this same mentality got Obama elected. I truly believe Hillary would be prez now if people hadn't been afraid she couldn't win, so they went with who they thought could. I personally would have picked Clinton over Mccain and Obama. While I totally agree that Obama must go. I think we need to get away from the "Get someone who can beat him" mentality and actually vote for someone with some substance and might actually be good for the country. But then, anyone with any substance and good ideas won't run because we've let our elections become more like circuses running "who's the biggest clown" contests than elections to actually put leaders in office. This is just my little rant and opinion.
