fishing for info on pickups

I've been looking at new pickups. looking at Silverado's and F150's. I like the crew cabs for inside room, But the beds are so short. Other option is extd. cab. For those of you with extd. cab, do you wish you had gotten the crew cab. How is it for pass. in the back as far as leg room? I've only been one newer silverado but not in the back. That was Daniel's at the last get-together In ala. BB had to set in the back. Looking for opinions either way.

I can get a better deal on the Chevy during truck month.
