I won a new reel.....

I'm always entering sweepstakes for all kinds of stuff that I never win, so I was quite surprised when I recently got an email congratulating me on being a winner in the Abu Garcia "Experience the Revolution" sweepstakes, and my new reel was on its way to me. Well, it showed up today and I couldn't be happier...its the new Revo Premier.....

This is my very 1st high end reel, so I feel like a kid that just got his first brand new bicycle.....lol.....I can't wait to take this baby for a test drive.....For now I'm going to have to couple it with an older Lightning rod I've got, but hopefully before too long, I can upgrade to something more worthy and better matched to the reel. I was gonna ask you guys about setting up the internal braking system, but it looks like you don't have to mess with that on this reel....Its got the same system as the Revo MGX.....apparently the magnetic knob on the outside cover does it all...We'll see....Man this baby is made of carbon fiber and everything ultra lightweight cause it almost feels fake or something....Less then 6oz....its really kinda weird....But anyway, I'm gonna spool it up with some type of line yet to chosen, and give it a try this weekend....I'll let ya'll know how it worked for me.
