Speed Snap direct to EWG Hook?
So I've been using speed clips (Norman) for a little bit. Really like how quickly I can change lures, presentations. Better than spending a day tying knots.
So here's my question, anyone ever clip a worm hook (EWG) direct to the snap? I was thinking of changing out to a weightless fluke the other day but was concerned about the connection (speed snap direct to hook). I ended up cutting off the clip & tying on the hook. After I thought more about it, I thought the clip might actually help the action of the fluke on the 'twitch' as well as add just a little weight to the nose to potentially help it freefall more naturally? Thoughts? Experience? |
