Back to the topic of what magazine is best. Go with "The In-Fisherman." There are as many ads there as in any magazine, and I don't think there are 12 issues per year, BUT they've always got an article on bass, whether it's smallmouth, largemouth, or spotted. "The In-Fisherman" tells you 'why' by providing scientific evidence pertaining to fish behavior. Plus, they cover multiple species, which is the major bonus. Most of the "new" techniques that come out are not actually new techniques. They're actually techniques used to catch other species of fish that have been adapted for the behavior, diet, and location of the bass. So if you want a good magazine subscription for under $20, then go with "The In-Fisherman." Good fishing to you!
