I would actually use a higher pound test on the Powerpro, because of the line diameter. I use 30lb or 50lb myself. I beleive Powerpro is a great all around line for baitcasters or spinning reels. I think the 20lb would be better for the spinning reels personally.

By the way I have yet to have 30 lb or any other pound test of Powerpro just break. It has either been scuffed, shredded, or just plain old worn out. "IF" they did have a bad batch of 30lb line I never got any of it.
