fished my first tourny today
So I finally got out and fished a tournament today, extreamly tough fishing day.. Not a single boat out of the 15 weighed in a limit. never seen this lake like this, fished a whole bank without a bite on anything we were throwing.. all said and done we weighed in 2 4 pounders and a 1.25 smallie. my partner snapped off a nice 3+ too.. all fish were from over 20 feet deep.. all said and done we ended up with about 3 pounds more then the second place team.. nothin better then winning your first tournament.

Congratulations! It is always a big deal to win a tournament but the first one is always the best one. The problem is that now you will be really hooked and like many others here say, the bait monkey will be all over you.
Keep up the good work! I have one more to go this weekend, and I could sure use a payday to end the season with!

Quit now! You can say you were undefeated in tournament competition. Now just fish for fun.
