Default I need to go to "SENSITIVITY TRAINING"

OK, I am in need of help, counsuling, or whaterver that will help me understand how so many people can be so easily offended over the least little thing. Like they are looking for something just to b!tch about. I am just not understanding it. It just flies right over my head when I hear certain groups screaming foul over every tiny little thing, that I can't find a problem with with a magnifying glass.

Case in point: Victoria's Secret has pulled this costume because Native Americans are ready to go on the war path - WHY? This is flattering in my view, a Native American should look so good. They are really upset with the head dress, but not with the tourquise jewlery.

It's a wonder, now that I think of it, that African Americans are not pizzed because she's wearing a leopard bikini bottom. Leopards are endangered, y'know. Why haven't we heard from PETA?

I'm just not gettting it..................

If that's the case, I want Native Americans to stop writing and speaking English this instant. It's racially insensitive of them to continue.

I think the real reason Native Americans are upset with this costume is because they never looked this good in it. The same reason heavy set women hate runway models. haha

This is absurd. These hyper sensitive PC groups make me sick. While being "southern" is not a racial or ethnic group I think it's fair to call it a social group. As a proud and loyal member of this group I am preparing to sue everyone involved in the creation, production and sponsorship of the following (this is just a partial list and the tip of the iceberg)
#1 Hillbilly Handfishing
#2 The Call of the Wildman
#3 Swamp People
#4 Bayou Billionaires
#5 Rocket City Rednecks
#6 American Hoggers
#7 Billy the Exterminator
#8
#9

to add to your list kenneth, DUCK DYNASTY too, lol.

now as i (as most likely most if not all of us here) having SOME native blood in me....am NOT offended by the headress. very few tribes actually used THIS typeof head dress for their cheif. now what gets ME is WHERE IN THE ENTIRE CONTINENT OF THE AMERICAS did they find SPOTTED LEPERD? I MEAN SHOULDN'T THIS BE MORE OF AN AFRICAN SCENE? HAHAHA!!! i am ALL for the native look. there are some native american women who are ABSOLUTLY beautiful. but the outfit is more AFRICAN than native american.

so therefore i am thining of sueing for that, not the headres thing. false advertising. o native americans in africa......jsut didn't happen. shows what some fancy designer knows about history.....

Now if she was wearing buffalo fur briefs and a pony tail I could see where they might call foul! I could see where Pocahontas might be a little upset as she would have a little competition in the village.

I'll have to run this picture by my wife who is part Native American and see if it offends her or send it to her great uncle who is the still medicine man for their tribe.

I'm sure in today's world there isn't much exploration, she probably comes with a GPS chip.

LOL...sorry I hope I didn't offend anyone. I don't want the ACLU coming after me!

Well after HOURS of close inspection with the afore mentioned magnifying glass the spotted pelt may be jaguar which has been seen in Texas in the last century. So maybe it is accurate enough to be authentic American Indian regalia. I really don't care, I think it comes off very well. Wait, that didn't come out quite right.........

Don't remember too much of a backlash from the American Indians when these guys were making the rounds.

I mean, talk about image perception................

You know, I've never heard anyone get mad when 'Indian Casino' is mentioned.
And I've NEVER heard one referred to as a Native American Casino.

Funny how money can change one's preferences isn't it?

You guys can have your village idiots, I'm staying with the 'politically incorrect maiden or squaw'. (squaw sounds kind of derogatory in itself)

Don't get mad at me but, I can't refer to a black man as black, why can he refer to me as white?
Shouldn't it be 'Conquering American' or at very least 'Intruding American"?

In a couple years I'm going to be the minority group....can't wait.
No more calling me white man I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT!!
See how ignorant that sounds!
