Default Super Tuning Baitcasting Reels

Found this article that may come in handy, I know I'm going to try it on an old reel to see if there is a noticeable improvement. Sure seems reasonable but I would caution people to read the entire article before proceeding.

i posted this quite a while ago..then i tried it on almost all my reels to different degrees....then loaded them with hot sauce..it really makes a difference.

just using 1500grit on baitcaster spool shafts then hot sauce makes such a big difference.the spool shafts are machined which does not always leave a smooth finish.going over them with the 1500 grit removes any little burrs or uneven machining.
i also do the shafts and gears in my spinning reels.
you will feel the difference.
