Watermelon Candy Thunderstruck Football Jigs, barrel swivels, glass beads, GP Trick Worms and 3/0 EWG Gammys. The local rocks have a powerful craving for jigs and Carolina rigs.

Vegas...do you mean to tell us that a guy refused to fish with you because you switched to a Ntiro?
Pathetic.

Well not in so many ways but yes. He used to be a snob with his Ranger and was sold in his head that if you were not fishing from a Ranger and pulling it with a Chevy. then how in the heck would you catch a fish? Just one of those guys. I don’t miss my Ranger and love my Z9. They both are quality boats but the Nitro is a little better in it really is a dry ride, gets on plane faster and more than anything it holds a line. My last two Rangers would not hold a line. The power steering always favored a small move to the right. Not something, you would really notice until after hours on the water. I get way more compliments from non-fishing types on the Nitro as well. It's a pretty boat. It makes it look like you know what your doing even if you don’t. I am not sure if I would have followed through with the pro deal or not, I might have stayed with Ranger mostly cuz of FLW money and others. Now I love to enter FLW with the Nitro just to piss em off.
Since I am one I can say it, fisherman are strange folks over the silliest things. Besides, he is embarrassed that his boat got repoed. He tells people that he sold it with all of his stuff in it to quit fishing. Problem is, his wife tells my wife and other wives a different story. He got called out on it on a local forum, which was a stupid thing for the poster to do. No class whatsoever. According to her – there was a knock on the door at 10:00 at night and the guy was there to pick up the boat. He was so upset that he let them take it fully loaded. He did get his personal belongings back later and not one thing was missing lucky for him. His atty told him he did not half to give it to them since it was in the garage they can only take it out of the driveway etc. He did not want the chance of being embarrassed at a tournament or something. His wife said he had not made a payment in 19 months! How can you be shocked that they would come and get it after all that time. He had this stupid back yard logic that after a year there is nothing they can do… Wrong! I feel bad for him and would never make fun of him for something like that. But I can promise you, he would if it were the other way around. O well I would rather be stupid in my Nitro that smart watching the someone drive off with my Ranger…………………… |
