I'd be curious to do a college game. Pick players from just ACC, Pac-12, Big 10 etc or a combo of a couple divisions. Picking nationally would be crazy. With the high scoring college games it would be interesting!!

We have discussed that in the past. My favorite way is to pick one big division usually SEC or Big 12 and then one smaller division like the MWAC.

Cassidy - sent you an email about draft date but for some reason your email didn't work. message says it doesn't exist. Best day for me for draft is 28th in the evening. Have no clue for weekdays since my schedule changes almost daily. Weekends I can find wifi somewhere if I'm not on the water.

To email someone in the league, you have to go into the league and do it from there.
We will look at the 29th at 1:30 pacific so 4:30 eastern this is like trying to nail jello to the wall. I was trying to do the 28th, but the Saturday is an impact for a lot of folks as well Cavs, you are not the youngest in the league.

Okay Justin. I was hoping that putting it later in the day would allow for that.

No, I just haven't gotten any other suggested dates yet. Saturday the 28th doesn't work for 6 folks. (Yes selfishly I am one of those) I am open to suggestions.

Sunday the 29th in the evening work? Or the 4th in the evening works for me....I think. Yep I'll be hanging with Capt Mike at Starrett Pointe catching croaker, redfish, and sea trout from his dock.

cassidy - how many extra players or slots are we going to have? will we have to pick a defensive player too? just curious. Kind of thinking about some picks and the number of extra slots we'll have. Bye weeks might be ugly if we are limited to 2 or 3.

Smitty,
These are the roster positions QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/T, W/R, Q/W/R/T, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN There are 7 bench players and 3 "slash players" In those you can play any player who matches those criteria.

Without sounding like a smart@$$...I first suggest logging in to yahoo and checking the scoring. I do award return yards. I Also give points for completed passes. I dedct fo incomplete passes and I hammer kickers. (A missed XP is -5)

Yahoo should release the draft order about 30 minutes before the draft. Until that happens, I don't really develop my drafting plan.
Please note that the draft is a snake draft. This means that it reverses order every round. The number 1 pick doesn't pick again until number 28.

It looks like someone dropped out. We can't draft until we have an even number of teams. I am recruiting now. Let me know if anyone else wants in.
