![]() ![]() I've joyfully watched these outtings transpire the last 3 years Knowing it didn't involve me. Hell I drove to St. Louis JUST to pick my Kayak up. So before I even sat in it, I trailered it hundreds of miles. Please God make me strong or............... make them stop! ![]() ![]()

Kayakers are easily able to cover several miles at a time and as Mippiboy said, several fishing locations are easily reachable with a kayak, either peddle or paddle types. Mitchell Creek may be a stretch but all the creeks down at the dam end are doable.

Nice list Woody, but ummmm none of those DH smallest were caught within the last 25 years and most catches are older than that. Today's reality is more like a 6# smaller is about as big as you'll find (Donald did last year - with live bait), that's still a heck of a nice fish.

I'd say if Don caught that same fish, next spring, before she gets all spawned out she'd be upwards of 8+ lbs.

Just like this one, it was caught back in 2009 on South Holston Lake TN. She went 8lb11oz.
