I have been fishing since the 80's butfrom 1998 until a few months ago I have not fished much at all. Have not use braid since I have been fishing. I have been noticing in posts that everyone uses a leader fishing cranksbaits and etc. Now for the stupid question. Why not tie the braid directly to the snap or lure if you use green color.

I think it's for a shock absorber, so the that you don't rip the bait away from the fish with the 0 stretch braid.

Alright guys, like I mentioned earlier, I'm setting up a "Chat Night." I'm hoping this will increase the number of people who get on the chat. I know most won't get in the empty chat and wait around for someone, so this should help.

Sunday Nights at 8 or 9pm Eastern up until whenever everyone's gone will be the Chat Night. So if you can get on, get on. If not, that's fine.

Also, keep your eyes on the chat room other nights, cause there's often a small group on there (not as often recently though).

Thanks, and hope to see lots of people on there Sunday night (and maybe before then too!)!
