Good Fishing Location In Maryland

hey is there any good bass fishing spots in maryland besides loch raven in baltimore county i would like to try the potomac river but i dont know where about it i can find a good spot i dont have a boat would like to rent one if possible if not a good shore spot would be good, if you can tell me any good spots in MD or upper VA it would be great tahnks!!!!

The Potomac is a big river but shore fishing isn't the best. If you don't mind wading the upper Potomac is a fantastic place to fish in the summer or early fall. Make sure the water level is safe. Practice on some small creeks or streams around your home. Make sure you have a friend with you and if you can't swim then stay out of the water.
There are plenty of small ponds in Fairfax and Loudoun, VA that have plenty of shore fishing. Check with the MD Dept Game and Fish and see what is in your county. You'd be surprised at what is around you.
