Another day on Beautiful Canyon Lake
(The Jewel Of The Texas Hill Country )
Launched circa 0700 at Jacobs Creek, fished long bank at the park, caught 11 apiece there, my first two on shaky head worm.
Crossed the mighty body of water and fished from Turkey Creek "Exit" to Comal. Caught a few. Fished SE bank of Comal...caught a few more.
Totals : George 19. FlyRod 18. Fish Of the Day: Flyrod, Smallie, decent.
Trailered at 1600. Once back to Geo's home in Garden Ridge, took me over an hour to get home. Loop 1604 was unalloyed HEll! It takes me 25 minutes to get to Geo's in the early AM.
I've told Geo that we either fish 'til at least 1730 or launch earlier and leave earlier, or I'm staying home!!! He fully understands.
Got home to learn that another relative had kicked the bucket...Geez!
