My Dad passed away unexpectedly a few weeks back and I have inherited all his fishing stuff. Which is a lot since he was a rep for a major distribution company for Shimano and several other fishing companies for several years. There are several Rods that have guides broke or are missing tips that I want to eventually pass down to my son. Can someone direct me to a website that shows how to repair/replace these guides on a graphite rod?

Sorry to hear about your dad-mine passed back in 02, so I can relate.
As to your question-Replacing them yourself is not difficult at all. Most places that carry tackle will have replacement guides/tips. Here are a couple of links: http://fishing.about.com/od/rodsandr...aqt081805a.htm http://fishing.about.com/od/rodsandr...aqt081805b.htm
