Default Can You Say DOH!!!

Finally got out on the lake this weekend and was having some awful trouble with my outboard. I had mentioned before that it seemed to sneeze or hiccup while running, well it seemed to be getting worse this time but it got me around the lake and back to the ramp. I got to work on it last night and decided to check the fuel pump to make sure that I didn't have any rips in any of the diaphragms, or to make sure nothing was partially clogged. I rmoved the pump, unhooked it, found a good spot to work on it and removedthe screws. As soon as I let pressure off the pump it flew apart; releasing springs and other parts. I found the springs that flew out, but couldn't find this little BB looking thing that flew out. I was cussing the rest of the night. Oh well, I guess it never hurts to replace the fuel pump anyway and now that I HAVE to it will give me piece of mind. Can you say DOH!!!!!
