The Mac 4/26
Did a club gathering on old faithful today. Started off slow with no bites on topwater over grass
 . Headed for some laydowns and still nothing  . Ran back into a creek and started tossing the chatterbait and bingo! It was on.  Finished the day with 19 bass on the chatterbait w/ custom skirt and two on Paca craw (one was my big fish for the day - nothing special but still a nice fish)  . Finished in first with 5 for 13.1lbs but still have one more day to fish so it may be a temporary lead.Here's some pics. The bass in the net did not measure 15" so it was released!!! The first pic was an area that gave up 14 bass. The other pic of trees has a young bald eagle in it which you probably can't see. |
