I had the opportunity to use one and I must say it is a very good rod. It had a Shimmy Callisto reel.
![]() Total cost was under 200.00 Felt a bass fart near my lure and snagged him in the ***. You know you laugh at something outrageous as a rod with carrot fibers in it.. But this one works.. So this year I have found two fishing products that live up to there hype. Capt Mike

It was not mine.. It belonged to a client.. He brought his Sage fly rod and a Carrot Stix. I tought him LGMouth on a fly too.
Just do not have a need for baitcasters since started guiding 17 years ago.. Capt Mike

Took a look at Callisto on Cabelas site. Not bad at all for the money. Now this somthing a beginner or some one strapped for cash can use. Not normally a shimano person. But i would use it as a river rig. Since i do'nt like the sand grinding up my better stuff.
