I'll brief my minnows immediately!
![]() I'll bet suspending a tiny marabou jig under that would create a VERY effective search 'n catch crappie set-up and do the same when the white bass are making their upriver spawning run. Thanks for the heads-up. Lancer6 |

They are great for river and that's the main reason that drove me to devop them.
I am not trying too hard to get rich and sell 4 small for $8.00 + $2.50 shipping. |

I think that having a float with directional control is always better.
The Combo Packs are my best and because you never know what lue or bait you'll want to steer. They turn any rod and reel into a remote control. 1 for $16.00, 2 for $30.00, 4 for $50.00 ![]() |

here are instructions to build your own.
Print this template to scale and paste it on a 1/4" thick piece of wood. ![]() It goes together like this. Drilling the hole is tricky and the hole should be lined witha tube. ![]() If you want to make lures you can make them out of wood or paint the clear plastic ones. I sell the clear cheap to any lure painters. ![]() I admit to mild spamming but not the hit and run stuff and think I have something of interest to most fishermen. Maybe you should attach a treble hook to the bobber and paint it like a frog. That way you can have a topwater lure along with a float-n-fly.

Not bad Idea fishingolf. The problem is that the floatnfly is for cold water smallmouth that are suspened in the water column. The frogs are hybernating in Jan and Feb in Tennessee. The smallies are inactive but will hiot the little 1/16 oz fly suspended at the depth they are suspended. Altering the flys path may make it appear a little alive. The problem with most lures is that they are not muti directional like living prey. Fish2win

Maybe you can use a similar design of BulBob's to develop a wooden floating frog that is reversable and zig zags across the water everytime you give it a twitch. You could put the treble hook on the back end so it wouldn't matter which side the frog was on. The hook would always be on the back end. Use some rubber legs too.
I saw a video where some guys put a small vibrating tool in the belly of a SPRO frog. It sent out some great vibrations but it was only a 15 second video. I wondered if it would catch some bass due to the vibrations. |

I wish I had time to do half things on my list.
I also wish I had the money to do them and market them! These are prototypes made out of EPS like a lot of other bobbers and floating lures. ![]() ![]() I could use some partners! |

Take this lure and put the treble hook where the small grub is and put a frog leg where the treble hook is and one on the other side and you have yourself a zigzagging frog. You could even do the whole body in a semi-soft hollow plastic. Use a rigid tube or bar where the line would attach to and then have another bar go to the back to connect the treblehook to. For weedless applications you could use one of the weedless frog hooks that they have on the frogs now. Attach this to the bar that runs diagonally across the frog where you attach your line.

The finished weight must be light enough to sit 50% out of the water and attachments might keep it from flipping.
Nothing with directional control functions is easy but possibilities are exciting. |

Hey Dog & Fishingolf,
Who's got money for R&D, manufacturing and marketing? I have a patent but I need a partner with deep pockets to create new products. I believe that working with my clear plastic bodies to make a lure will be quickest and most cost effective. |

How deep of pockets do you need? It seems to me that you have the basics and just need someone to mass produce. A little advertising...your on your way.
e-mail me and tell me what you are looking for. Do you have a written business plan? Are these made in your garage or is someone making them for you? Buddy buddy@eatel.net

If you act now with your SPAM fishing lure !!!! You get a 10lb box of GOVERMENT CHEESE. Then you can make good SPAM & CHEESE. All this if just send money to support what has to be the ugliest fishing lure ever made. It's best used when you use it with the pocket fishermen.
