Hey guys I bought a pair of the lipgrip scales Saturday at BPS. Dang they hit the bank hard, but I hope I got a good pair. Any comments or are there any better.

I've never used them but I would do what Jimmy Houston does and put a big float tied to the handle.... just in case.

Boga Grips, whoa! Definately the top of the line. Never used Boga's, but lip grips come in handy for holding and weighing big fish. Also for any Toothy predators you might encounter. We use Berkley Lip Grip w/ digital scale, and it works good for us.

I stand behind zooker on this one. On ol mighty Mo i have dragged a many big cats out with them. Many fish over 50lbs. My 80lb blue cat was dragged out with them. I never once hestitated using them. Get a pair you'll love them.
