i really like all the powerbait stuff, it is probably my favorite softplastic lineup. however i am not a big fan of the gulp, it catches fish but can be a huge pain to use because it dries out really bad.

I've always used berkley products, from their line, soft plastics, scents anything. In my opinion they are the best bait company and fish research facility lab.

I love their power worms but like C-rig said I stay away from gulp because of how fast it dries out .

You should be ashamed if you haven't used a Berkley product yet and have been fishing for more than a month now.Just kidding around, Berkley has great products, choose one.Ivan |

I like Berkley Products... like others have said just the Powerbait not Gulp. My favorites are the 5 and 7" Shaky Worms, 7" Power Worms, Lizards, and Grubs.

Berkley makes great products...along with several other manufactures. I personally love Culprit worms. Everyone has his or her choice..My best advice on tackle if you have confidence in it use it

I've always leaned more towards berkley power bait, i've done some test myself with bedding bass, seems when they pick it up to move it out of the nest, the fish doesn't want to spit it as fast, same goes for bluegills, rip off a small piece of power bait, and apply it to a small hook, they hold onto it forever.
Gulp is slimy, and it dried up really quick when i left the package open in my bag, sot of reminded me of those uncle josh pork trailers for jigs, take em out of the jar, and its all she wrote.

When it comes to worms, I use 90% power bait. I love the 7" power worm. Other than that I'd say 60% of my plastics are powerbait. I've got a fwe packs of gulp, but they are expensive and are not very tough. I do find they work good when no other plastic will. And I do believe they have a better scent and they do disperse it better.

Bcklash, I figured someone would say something about that sooner or later.
Jim, at first you hit us with a bit of hotdog comedy, then next with alittle likable cat bashing, all I can say is that you must have a pretty good and slightly wierd sense of humor! LOL Last edited by woody; 12-28-08 at 08:46 PM. |
