1st time striper fishing?
I am going striper fishing next saturday at lake murray in SC for the first time, what are some tips and baits for me to use?

I dont know much about stripers but i have caught some by trolling 200 and 300 series bandit crankbaits and casting chrome zara spooks if you see them feeding on top. I hope this helps and good luck on your trip.

Folks in Georgia have been catching them as deep as 80' in Carters, Allatoona and Lanier by fishing 6" to 8" live Rainbow trout.

you could try the 6 to 8 inch ahrd baits in the rainbow trout color, or shad color. we would troll down around 30 plus feet for em on smith lake in cullman,alabama.
