Carpeting can vary. Ive heard anywhere from $400. to about $1200.. The gel coat, don't have a clue. A few guys on here have refinished their boats and had some outstanding results. Check some older post's.

Just had my Boat redone at the Ranger Factory. New seats, two new storage lids, and new carpeting. Fixed all the scratches in the hull, fixed my boarding ladder etc. And all for approx 4K. If your boat company is still in business, give them a call. It might be worth it.

post up some pics man. would love to see the job they did. and zooker, i just might do this to da cajun one day. i have been thinking and thinking about it. makes sense to me to redo mine and save alot of money in the process. then after i redo the boat and after the venom goes kaput....then get a new motor. or will probaly just rebuild the one i have. but alais...i can't do a thing at the moment.

Tinboats is a good site, I sometimes post on there.
Its real easy to redo carpet poorly. Not as easy to do a good job. Of course we know what type of job the spook got!
