Fishing the Potomac 6/4

This well be the first time I will be fishing it. I plan on launching out of Slavins Dock and fishing mattawoman. For any of you that have fished it before and tips or hints to steer me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

When you get to Slavin's see if you can smell the bbq from George's and head directly to that boat!!!! Go say hello to Capt Mike and follow him around. He'll lead you to the fish and you'll have some laughs at the same time.

You've got a couple patterns working right now. Topwater over grass is working outside the no wake zone. Or you can flip craws on the pad edges on outgoing tide. Finally chatterbaits, flukes, or shallow cranks are working around the spatterdock edges on incoming tide.
