I have a Daiwa Advantage that, when the drag is set higher (doesn't even have to be locked to the fullest) and I set the hook, it spins and provides practically no drag.
Also, when I have the drag at the fullest and set the hook (don't ever have it that high...just an example), it clicks and rotates but it thumps around and sounds like it will break. What can I do before I have to send it in? And if this isn't cureable for myself, where do I ship and how much will it cost to repair the drag? |

Any reel repair shop should be able to fix it, and it will proably be cheaper than sending it to Daiwa. But if all else fails, you may have to send it to daiwa to be fixed or replaced.
