Banned
I visit a few other bass fishing forums. I am (was) a member of one. I logged on today and was banned. I hardly ever posted on the site. I mainly just read the forums. I am dumbfounded by this action. Could it be due to an error or something else? Do I have any recourse as to find out why?

Maybe it was because you didn't post very often... never really heard of that happening but maybe..
As far as for getting it fixed you'll probably need to shoot an e-mail to the admin or a moderator.

Yea, shoot a email to the administrator. Could be you were banned on accident while trying to ban someone else.

That has happened to me before...I swear it wasn't my fault...I only kinda only said a few bad things about the f#*@*. Once I gave 'em whut fer Kevin took care of it right away.......
  . It was on another sight but it was a mistake and the admin took care of it. Contact the admin. |

I never heard of banning for posting too little, but I have heard of people getting banned erroneously. I'd follow the prior advice to try and contact someone at the site. If you can't e-mail or send a personal message because of the banning, check and see if any of the moderators are members of other forums and contact them that way if you can. Or you could try posting the name of the forum here and someone who's also a member of the other forum could contact them on your behalf.

Update. I sent a message and with no explanation I was unbanned. I guess it must have been a mistake on their part.
