Will This Rod Do?
I am thinking of buying a Mattlures Blugill Series Swimbait for bed fishing this upcoming season. It weighs quite a bit at 1 oz. I plan on throwing it on my TD Zillion 6'9" MH-XF Baitcast rod. Now the rod is weighted for up to 1 oz. I plan on using 12 lb P-Line CXX for the line. Do you think the rod can handle it? Especially with the hookset?
