Open water!!!!
Folks, us in the North have OPEN WATER!!! Went around to check all of the reservoirs, and local ponds, and they are all WIDE OPEN!!! Bring on the FISHIN'!!! Perfect too, because I am on spring break this week!! Just thought I would brag about some soft water!!......

The ice is slowly going away. Although today we have 3 inchs of new snow. Looking forward to some steady warm weather, maybe in a few weeks.

I figure another week before we have open water here. It's just starting to open around the edges. But dropping into the teens at night is slowing it down.

That sucks!! Their was Friggin TRUCKS out on the ice today!
 Only soft places here are the ones with a good bit of current, I wanna try to fish the dam where it's open next weekend, but I gotta a fishin license too before that. What's the weather (highs and lows) like up there Ryan?

Um...Boss its still pretty cold here. Depends on the day. 29 today and some 50-60 days later this week so it varys

We're completely open now as well. Water temps at the reservoir are 38.
But, we are scheduled to get 12" of snow with 30 mph winds starting tomorrow. I am not at all happy! We start tournaments soon...well, maybe soon. The first one may get moved if this is going to be the case. |
