I was just curious what you guys thought about the bracket system used in the 2nd leg of the post season. I think it's a pretty cool idea for this situation. The AOY race is over, this is purely for the bragging rights (and $100,000.) In the end, the guy that has the best 3 days will win but if you have a bad day, you're done. I don't want to see this implemented anywhere else but for this event, I think it's cool.

This should be good. I have one question. I havn't really watched how this final 8 was chosin. How come KVD isn't part of this group?

It started on Lake Jordan last week. The top 8 in the regular season and 4 that were voted in by the fans fished for 3 days last weekend. The top 8 moved on to match play this week on the Alabama River . KVD was eliminated last week, along with Davy Hite, Steve Kennedy and Jeff Kriet.

I personally like the format. I think it's a neat little change up from the regular tournaments that we see all season. I agree that it shouldn't be implemented during any other point of the season but I like this format for a post season championship.

This would make for some fun. First 8 that send a PM to a self appointed administrator get drawed to a fisherman. You are eliminated or moved on with your assigned fisherman. The last 2 standing, the loser has to send the winner a bait for a cap of around $10. Or better yet, the loser sends the winner the bait, the champ primarily won on. I will administer and draw if anyone is interested. I'm in, if 7 more want to join..

I will put 8 angler names in one pile, 8 participants in the other and draw.
