Hey guys another question here (alot lately, haha). Other than black and blue what other colors do you guys like for flipping and pitching in dirty water? Any colors that work in clear and dirty water that you guys use?

I would have to go with black or blue if I can't use black and blue. Usually anything I can find that is dark in my box will get a shot. But I can tell you this too, I am not a good muddy water fisherman. Especially going below the surface.

I fish the mississippi river so most of my fishing is done in very stained water. I love black/ blue flake, blue saphire, black neon (black/red flake), green pumpkin tipped with charteuse. to be perfectly honest i have caught fish in the river with eveything from watermelon to bubble gum. I think to bass color is secondary, in dirty water its more a about water displacment. Move water with your bait so the bass can track it, so more apendages and bulk can be a good thing. oh yeah green pumpkin is the ultimate middle ground it will produce in water that is chocolate milk to gin clear.

If black and blue are out of the question I would say that Bullfrog from Zoom is probably my next favorite muddy water color.

Maybe I'm a minority, but I like my baits to have a tip of chartreuse at the end in really muddy water. Black/brown/pumpkin any darker color with a tip of chartreuse is my go-to bait in dirty water for trailers on jigs, senkos, craws, etc

In clear water, green pumpkin is my go-to color. get a bunch of green pumpkin baits for clear water and dip them in chartreuse die when in dirty water. it would be a great idea
