 I really enjoyed the list. Some of those phrases today would probably get you arrested. |

I'm a word lover and I've seen lists of collective nouns for animals, but not as extensive as this list. There were a number that I never saw before. Thanks for sharing.

One of the very first ones caught my eye. A group of hermits is called an "observance." Does this strike anyone else as an oxymoron?
